Btw, Matthew Falconer’s last email revealed, by his own admission, the fact that in almost 15 years, Falconer only voted 1 time!  According to him, he was “too busy.” I guess those of us who made the time to vote are just lazy slouches?  (The fact is that Falconer only became interested in voting when he became a candidate. Before that, he  didn’t care about our country or community.  If Falconer were truly sincere about our country and community, he would prove it by developing a real record.  Right now, his only “record” is a slew of misleading and erroneous emails.)

Falconer Fiction vs. Fact

1. Falconer Fiction: Jacobs left UCF to take a job as a “lobbyist” with the Florida Department of Transportation where he says her job description is to “influence public policy.”

1. Fact: Teresa was not a lobbyist for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and if you read her attached job description, you’ll see that.  In fact, the words, “influence public policy” aren’t even in her job description! (attachment: Position Description-Teresa Jacobs) Second, attached is an email response from FDOT which confirms that Teresa was never a lobbyist, nor did she ever lobby on behalf of FDOT (see attachment: FDOT email)

2. Falconer Fiction: Teresa Jacobs suggested the Expressway Authority “spread the wealth” with toll money to pay for her rail projects. In another email, Falconer claimed Jacobs wanted to “spread the wealth” by raising tolls to use the money to pay for her train projects.

2. Fact: She did not want to raise tolls for rail projects or any other purpose, she proposed to lower tolls.  Falconer attaches the following link as proof-

Apparently Falconer assumes that you, the reader, are either too lazy to read it or not smart enough to understand what it says.  Falconer has taken one sentence by the reporter from the OBJ article that misrepresents her position and then ignores the rest of the article.  Here’s the heart of the article; here’s what he doesn’t want to focus on:

“At the heart of the debate is a plan to increase the expressway authority’s accountability.

Jacobs wants to require the authority to seek Orange County approval when building any toll roads outside the county boundaries, such as the northern part of the Western Beltway.

The plan also suggests restructuring the authority to include two members from the Orange County Board of Commissioners, the mayor of Orlando and two members appointed by the governor.

“Finally, the plan proposes using surplus revenue to eliminate tolls or to widen and improve roads that are impacted by the toll road network.”

THAT was the part about Jacobs’ plan that Falconer does NOT tell you…or want you to know!  If you aren’t sure what to believe, please click on and read the whole article (http://orlando.bizjournals.com/orlando/stories/2004/02/09/story2.html).  See if you can find anything that supports Falconer’s accusation that Teresa Jacobs wanted to raise tolls to build trains – It’s NOT in there!

Teresa Jacobs was also the only Commissioner to call for a full outside audit of the Expressway Authority in 2004.   This was years before the press began to focus on the problems at the expressway authority.

3.  Falconer Fiction: Teresa Jacobs teamed up with Linda Stewart to propose a “big box” ordinance to prevent large retailers like Target from increasing our commercial tax base and employing our residents.

3A. Fact: Teresa Jacobs supported stronger regulations against big box stores, especially Wal-Mart Superstores that wanted to locate close to neighborhoods.  At the time, Wal-Mart Superstores were popping up all over Orange County, dumping more traffic on congested roads, littering our streets with Wal-Mart shopping carts, and threatening the property values of nearby homes and businesses.

3B. Fact: Falconer is a developer who develops Wal-Mart strip shopping centers.

4. Falconer Fiction: Jacobs was president of the Florida Association of Counties, a group that fought against taxpayer referendums to limit tax increases. “It is an honor to lead a group dedicated to protecting government,” Jacobs said in a prepared statement.

4A. Fact: Teresa Jacobs was elected by commissioners across the state to serve as President of the Florida Association of Counties, but the organization did not fight against taxpayer referendums to limit tax increases, at  least not while she was part of the organization.   Other government organizations, including the League of Cities did oppose Amendment 1 in 2007.  But the Florida Association of Counties did not oppose it.  Instead they urged citizens to research the impacts of the amendment before voting.

4B. Fact As for the newspaper quote, the most disturbing thing about Falconer’s accusation is that he once again attempts to purposefully deceive you.  He provides you with only part of Teresa Jacobs’ quote.

Here’s the whole quote from the paper, “It is an honor to lead a group dedicated to protecting government closest to the people.”

If you know anything about Teresa Jacobs, you know that she believes government should be accessible and accountable to its citizens.  And she believes the government that is most accessible is the government closest to the people – local government.  When Falconer deliberately left off the last four words of her statement, he altered the meaning of her statement, attempting to mislead you.  We would never trust a newspaper reporter who resorted to these tactics.  How could we possibly elect someone into office who would do the same?

5. Falconer Fiction: “Her selection was praised by CSX lobbyist Bob O’Malley. CSX received $660 million taxpayer dollars for Sun Rail. ‘She has always been a regional leader and now she can use those skills on a statewide basis. Good for FAC.‘ Posted by Bob O’Malley, Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 10:31 AM.“

5. Fact: Falconer wants you to believe that Bob O’Malley made that statement because his employer CSX stood to benefit from Teresa Jacobs’ position with the Florida Association of Counties.  First, there is no correlation between Teresa Jacobs’ position as president of this organization in 2007 and SunRail or CSX.  Second, Bob O’Malley wasn’t even employed with CSX when he posted this comment.  He started working for CSX 15 months later! Again, the most disturbing thing about Falconer is his efforts to mislead you.

6. Falconer Fiction: She has done nothing but raise taxes and expand government yet has the gall to call herself a Republican.

6A. Fact: In 2006, when property tax revenue increased by approximately 20%, Teresa Jacobs was the only commissioner who tried to reduce the tax rate. She was the only commissioner to vote against the millage rate and the budget. (See page 2 near bottom http://www.occompt.com/attachments/255_09-21-06_minutes.pdf)

6B. Fact: In 2006, Teresa Jacobs was the only commissioner who opposed and voted against a plan ($530 million) put forth by the chairman to borrow against future tax revenues which would have saddled our children with more debt. 7. Falconer Fiction: After eight years as an elected official Jacobs went to work with her friend Linda Chapin at UCF.

7A. Fact: Teresa Jacobs worked with the Florida Institute of Government (IOG) at UCF for 6 months, were she helped cities and counties in the region engage the public in their budgeting and strategic planning process.  Linda Chapin was the director for Metropolitan Center for Regional Studies, which is not affiliated with the IOG except that they are both within the University System.  Teresa Jacobs did not work for or with Linda Chapin.

As Republicans and OCREC members, we cannot tell you how disappointed we and many others are with your negative and baseless campaign tactics you are taking against a fellow Republican, Teresa Jacobs.  We can no longer sit by while you relentlessly attack a fellow Republican with untrue and purposefully misleading accusations. You might win more supporters if you simply offered your ideas to us rather than dozens of “mud-slinging” emails that are fraught with errors and half-truths.

Moreover, you announce with such great self-righteous indignation that you are the longtime, dedicated Republican American who can fix our problems.  However, we learned from the Supervisor of Elections office that you switched to Republican only 6+ months ago, just weeks before YOU entered the race!  WORSE, even after 10 years as a registered voter, before this past election when you became a candidate, you only voted  1 time! (Gen ’04)

So somehow you want to convince us you want to run Orange County because you care about our future, but you didn’t care enough to vote but one time in almost ten years?! Personally, we find that insulting and incredibly self indulgent.  You only want to participate if you can run the show?!  Voting is a privilege, not a right to be taken for granted; and the mantle of leadership is to be earned not simply declared. We don’t know how you can claim to be a patriot and didn’t even bother to vote!

Having said that, we still want to address just a few of your factually wrong emails.  (As a side note, this email is not an endorsement of any particular candidate, just the defense of a fellow Republican against some unfair attacks.)

Falconer’s Fiction vs. the Facts

FALCONER  FICTION:  Falconer attacks Teresa Jacobs for being a Democrat before she got into politics, and only switched because of her district.

FACT: Teresa Jacobs registered Republican 11 years ago.  Before that, Teresa was registered no party affiliation, not Democrat. Oh, and Teresa cared enough to vote, unlike Falconer. (source: Orange County Supervisor of Elections office)

FALCONER FICTION: You attack Teresa by trying to label her a lobbyist for the Department of Transportation.

FACT: Teresa has never  been a lobbyist for DOT or anyone.  In fact, one email inquiry to the DOT and they will tell you that she was expressly prohibited from meeting with any elected officials at any level of government while employed by DOT. If you can’t meet with them, you sure can’t lobby them. (source:  FL DOT)

FALCONER FICTION: You accuse Teresa of raising taxes, increasing the size of government and having the gall to call herself a Republican.

Last year Hamas supporter Ahmed Bedier and his group UVA went to the Capitol in Tallahassee to speak with our legislators as is his right under the U.S. Constitution. It is also our right and duty to educate our elected officials on Ahmed Bedier terrorist ties and support of the Fundamental Islamic Ideology he supports in words and deeds.

On March 11, 2010 they will be going back to the Capitol with as many people as they possibly can to send a message to our elected officials that we love the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. It is our duty to let them know they are dealing with terrorist supporter in the name of Ahmed Bedier. Bedier’s goal is to get Islamists who support his ideology elected into office under the benign shadow of United Voices For America.

Democrats like Alan Grayson hold “town halls” that are simply a sham pre-loaded with constituents and union members inside a union hall (with union members as security guards). Republicans like Rich Crotty of Orange County, who is a major player in what a grand jury terms a “culture of corruption” (not to mention hiring his best friend, former senator Dan Webster, to head the committee looking into his ethics), ignore, overtax and step on his constituents.

And then there’s all of us… who are supposed to be represented by this circus act, but instead are left out in the cold when they make decisions. How does this happen? How is to possible that we could be so angry – yet end up with the same types of representatives over and over and over? It’s simple: ask yourself this question: Did you vote for your side of the ticket in the last presidential election JUST because it was your side of the ticket.

You are what is known as the “Magic 40″ (don’t worry… I’m not judging you… I did it too). Magically, in every election, about 40% of the vote AUTOMATICALLY goes to the republicans, and another 40 AUTOMATICALLY goes to the democrats. The candidates of either party DON’T EVEN FIGHT for your votes – they just fight over the 20%.

But it gets even more interesting: It used to be that candidates depended on your votes. Now they no longer need you because now there is a machine in place (special interest groups, higher ups in both parties, unions, large corporations, wealthy benefactors, etc…) that feeds them hundreds of millions of dollars to win that middle 20%. So they automatically get 40%, and then have all the money they want to win the other 20%.. if they just bow down and do what the machine wants, not what you want…

Obama has a BIG PROBLEM. His problem is so large it is scaring the poop out of all liberals and socialist scallywags in Washington!  They are running about sticking their heads in the sand like a flock of wild ostriches.

Believe me, everyday Barrack wakes up thinking about his BIG PROBLEM as it weights heavy on his conscience. The Senate and the House of Representatives recognize Obama’s BIG PROBLEM and flee like frightened children when he begins to address it.

Plus, legislation is dead-on-arrival if Obama’s BIG PROBLEM is attached to it. The National Health-Care swindle is crippled and limping to a grinding halt because of Obama’s BIG PROBLEM. The gun grabbers are having trouble dissolving the Second Amendment gun rights, once again, because Obama’s BIG PROBLEM is getting in the way.

As it turns out, the change is not going well, even though the Democrats have the majority in the House, Senate, and run the Whitehouse, but once again, it is Obama’s BIG PROBLEM getting in the way of the National Socialistic agenda.

Can you imagine how Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and the other Washington Socialists must feel every time they turn on the TV or listen to a radio show, and, there it is again, Obama’s BIG PROBLEM comes blaring out of the speakers and slaps them in the face!

* Is it the fact he refused to show his birth certificate knowing it will damn him, exposing him as a fraud and possibly dissolving his Presidency?

* Is it his Chicago political gangster past that haunts him?

* Is it the fact he studied Communism, becoming a student of Marxism?

* Is it his Advisors and Ministers who are democratic socialists being exposed for their shenanigans?

* Is it his admitted drug use in College, which shadows him and wakes him into a cold sweat night after night?

If that wasn’t bad enough, Minuteman Steve was called by the liberal nincompoops a “Son of a Bitch” because he exposed the Communist leaders of the unfree world who were running Washington. Many began to speak out, Patriots like the President of the Tea Party – Dale Robertson, who, teaming up with other groups in a coalition Marched on Washington, 2 million strong. Since then the movement now numbers well over 6 million strong, many of them members of the FaxDC Army!

And remember, all the while FaxDC is still sending blistering, hot, searing, powerful faxes directly into the belly of the beast.

Say it with me, all together: WOW!

Astonishing, isn’t it? No doubt, the phones were ringing off the hook in the secret hiding places of America’s politically diseased.   Wouldn’t you have liked to have been a fly on the wall? Can you imagine how the conversations’ must have gone?

“Mr. Obama. You have a BIG PROBLEM, and it is the American people. They don’t want your Obama Reich anymore. Your National Health-Care Scam will be an uphill battle, you won’t be able to grab guns, you can’t close down Conservative Talk Show hosts and bowing to all those Arab Sheiks really pissed miffed-off a lot of God Loving U.S. Citizens!”

…..and the dither goes on.

All together, “Holy Cow! What the %*#X! How did the American people get organized? Who awakened the sleeping giant? What is next, they actually want to run their own government?

At this point, it was then the FaxDC Army deployed another blizzard of torrid steaming faxes directly into the gasping faces of the Washington Nazicrats!

Get this, the change Mr. Obama was dreaming of has turned into a nightmare of epic proposition. Millions of Tea Party members are marching in the streets, the Minuteman ranks are swelling, and, the 912 Patriot groups are recruiting like never before. Conservative Talk Show Hosts are having a bumper year and it is not even 2010 yet!  WOW!

But that’s just part of the story, the Health-Care Bill from Hell is faltering.  The Nazicrats, trying to save face, have bellowed a small challenge threatening to shut down seasoned veteran Senator Joe Lieberman’s free speech. The political geniuses inside the Greenbelt know very well that a freshman Senator, formerly and possibly still a practicing comedian, will not inflict much, if any, damage to the likes of Joe Lieberman.

Get this, the Congressional hooligans and the liberal progressive’s screams are being heard all the way across the Washington’s reflection pool as they berate the Blue Dog Democrats for looking, smelling and talking like someone who gives a damn about what is right when it comes to the governments control over the little guy.

Here’s the real truth, the left feels scalded and screeches like turpentine-cats because someone who sang in their choir has turned into a soloist, no longer singing the praises of socialism but something which sounds like a free thinking individual looking out for the welfare of the American people. These brave souls are a handful of Democrats, Republicans and an Independent.

I’m not kidding, no doubt, the enraged left-wingers will find a means to punish all those who stand in the pathway of their expanded Nazicrat agenda.

In any case, the Obama administration cabal is trying to strong-arm Congress into submission. Much of Washington has turned their backs on the cries of the U.S. Citizens. The Obama Reich’s lust filled agenda is exposed to the public like never before.

Here’s the scary part, the word around the Greenbelt is: “Grab the health-care industry, and then Washington will control over one-sixth of our entire U.S. economy! Do it and do it now, at any cost.”

I’m telling you, the few remaining Conservative Congressmen are hanging on for all their lives. Daily they are being pummeled by the liberal Nazicrats. Many of our friends on Capitol Hill have become targets for the Socialist Political Extermination Squad. Not just wanting Conservatives to lose the next election, but to extinguish the political hopes of good men and women who pledge allegiance to the Red, White and Blue.

My fellow Patriots, we are in a fight for our lives like never before. America is on its last legs. What will happen to our beloved nation if the Obama Reich wins!  We now, more than ever, must pull together and fight the Obama Reich, and win back America.

In fact, We The People are Obama’s Big Problem, and I say, let us make it bigger than ever. However, how do we do such a thing? We The People must fill the Halls of Congress with Faxes, Postcards, Letters and our Voices.
